How Do I Schedule an Appointment?
To Set Up Your Account
Go to
https://tutortrac.sdstate.edu/. Enter your Student ID
as your username and click Login. When prompted, create a
username and password. (Your password must be at least 6
characters long and must include letters and numbers.)
Enter your personal information (contact information, etc.).
Click "Exit" to log off of the TutorTrac program.
To Schedule an Appointment
Go to
https://tutortrac.sdstate.edu/. From the main page,
scroll over "Go To" and click on "Make Appointment". At
the "Availability Search" screen,
click on “Wintrode Tutoring Program” and choose, choose either a Tutor or
Subject. Verify the date range for the appointment
availabilities and click "Search". Click on the Time &
Subject link for the appointment you would like to schedule.
Click on "Save Appointment". Click the "Refresh" or
"Reload" button on the internet browser to update your current
schedule.
If
this is your first time using TutorTrac, you will need to set up
your account before you can schedule an appointment.
To Cancel an Appointment
Go to
https://tutortrac.sdstate.edu/. On the main page, view
the appointments you have scheduled. Click on the date for
the appointment you would like to cancel, and then click
"Delete". If necessary, click the "Refresh" or "Reload"
button you the internet browser to update your current schedule.
Note:
TutorTrac is a secure site, you may need to adjust your internet
browser settings in order to access the site.

Responding
to Error Messages
All SDSU
students should be able to access TutorTrac from any computer
with internet access. If you cannot access TutorTrac from your
computer, try the following…
- Add
TutorTrac as a trusted site. (See instructions below.)
- Click
the Refresh button, or try again later.
- If you
typed the page address in the Address bar, make sure that it
is spelled correctly.
- Some
sites require 128-bit connection security. Click the
Help menu and then click About Internet Explorer
to determine what strength security you have installed.
- If you
are trying to reach a secure site, make sure your Security
settings can support it. Click the Tools menu, and
then click Internet Options. On the Advanced tab,
scroll to the Security section and check settings for SSL
2.0, SSL 3.0, TLS 1.0, PCT 1.0.
- If you
continue to have problems, call 688-4155 for assistance.
Adding
TutorTrac as a Trusted Site Using Internet Explorer

Open your
Internet Explorer browser

From the
“Tools” menu, select Internet Options

Under the
“Security” tab, click on “Trusted Sites”

Click on
the “Sites” button
-
Type
https://tutortrac.sdstate.edu under “Add this website to
the zone” and click on “Add”
