General Tutoring Information

The Wintrode Tutoring Program provides free tutoring to SDSU students in select courses.  Students can access tutoring by scheduling an appointment or utilizing walk-in sessions.  Students who access tutoring will receive assistance with understanding course content and developing study strategies that will help them be more successful in their courses.

Wintrode Tutoring Program Mission Statement:  The Wintrode Tutoring Program strives to create an environment that fosters student success. In doing so, tutoring staff will help students develop the learning strategies necessary to reach their academic potential and will teach students how to apply these skills throughout their lifetime. In addition, the tutoring staff will partner with SDSU faculty and staff to empower students to be self-motivated, successful in their chosen field of study, and productive members of society.

Scheduled Tutoring Sessions:  Appointments are scheduled as one-on-one or small group sessions.  To schedule an appointment, use our online scheduling system.

Walk-in Tutoring Services:  In addition to scheduled tutoring appointments, students can access walk-in tutoring.  Contact the Wintrode Tutoring Program for a list of courses, times, and locations.
