Registration & Payment Procedures

Early registration for the next semester:

• Pick up an SDSU Course Schedule at the Information Exchange in the SSU (University Student Union), Registrar’s Office in Administration (SAD) 310 or look at WebAdvisor. Schedules are usually available 2 weeks before early registration.  (Summer and Fall schedules - middle of March; Spring schedules - middle of November)
• Call your academic advisor to schedule an advising session as soon as class schedules are available for the next semester.  Registration holds are placed on WebAdvisor until you meet with your academic advisor.  Once you meet and discuss course options, the advisor will lift the hold.  Check WebAdvisor to determine which days you can register. Registration times are based on total completed credit hours at the end of the previous semester.  First semester freshman that don't have any transfer credits, you have 0 completed credit hours.
• Come to the session prepared to discuss your academic plans.  Create a tentative class schedule and bring it with you to the session.
• Follow the WebAdvisor registration instructions printed in the current SDSU Course Schedule to register for courses and to adjust your course schedule.
